Our Background
Nikao Reading Services was created in order to address the needs of struggling readers and those with dyslexia by by providing certified dyslexia tutors.
Our Expertise
Our dyslexia tutors have been trained in the Multisensory Structured Language Education (Orton-Gillingham) approach which is designed to to help those with dyslexia and struggling readers learn how to read, write, and spell to be successful.
Personalized Lessons
Each lesson is prescriptive and diagnostic while including a multisensory approach according to your child's specific needs.
Lessons can be provided in person or virtually to meet your family's needs.
Nikao
The word nikao in Greek means to be victorious, to conqueror, to triumph.
It is our firm belief that your child can be victorious and conquer dyslexia!
Evangelia Jackson
Evangelia Jackson is a Certified Dyslexia Language Practitioner - 2. Her certifications and training were through the Canton Children's Dyslexia Center.
She is a licensed Middle Childhood Education teacher in the state of Ohio with concentrations in ELA & Mathematics; in addition to a K-12 Reading Endorsement.
Evangelia has worked in both public and private schools as a teacher, as well as, traditional and Montessori school settings. She has worked with students that struggle with reading and students who have been diagnosed with dyslexia.
